CAS' Ryan Mangus and Casey Crosby presented risk management and crop insurance information to dozens of beginning Utah agricultural producers in five locations during the weeks of November 17 and 24, 2008.  The presentations were coordinated with local vocational agriculture classes and FFA Program advisors affiliated with the Utah FFA Association. 

CAS' John Mangus presented crop insurance program information at the Massachusetts Aquaculture Association's Annual Meeting held on November 7, 2008, in Sandwich, MA.  The presentation included coverage of RMA's Pilot Clam and AGR-Lite Programs and a discussion of risk management based decision-making frameworks.

Brett Crosby, President of Custom Ag Solutions, Cowley, WY, has been awarded the Accredited Rural Appraiser designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA).
