CAS' Shylea Wingard staffed a crop insurance information booth at the New England Grows Exposition held at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center on February 7 and 8, 2008.  CAS participation occurred as part of the USDA/RMA-CAS Crop Insurance Education Partnership to inform Massachusetts agricultural producers about the availability and benefits of Federal crop insurance programs.

Wingard talked with numerous producers who stopped by the booth to pick up hard-copy documentation about various crop insurance programs available to Massachusetts producers.  Wingard also made substantial efforts to reach nursery producers staffing their own booths at the event.  In fact, Wingard personally delivered crop insurance program information to over two dozen nurseries exhibiting at the event.  In delivering the information, Wingard explained program features and responded to questions about available programs.
