CAS’ Brett Crosby and Kole Swanser and K-State’s Drs. Kevin Dhuyvetter and Jim Mintert attended the 2008 National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Annual Convention in Reno, NV, where they presented information about BeefBasis to the Livestock Marketing Council, the Joint Producer Education Committee, and the Beef Production Research Committee. CAS also operated an informational booth in the tradeshow where we demonstrated BeefBasis.com and discussed future decision support tools being developed to help livestock producers more effectively use and evaluate RMA’s LRP and AGR-Lite insurance programs. |
