Custom Ag Solutions, a partner to the USDA's Risk Management Agency (RMA), worked with numerous regional producer groups to schedule and conduct  over ten risk management education training events in November of 2007.

CAS worked with livestock producer associations in Nevada, California, Idaho, and Oregon to coordinate presentations at six association annual meetings.  The presentations focused on market risk management considerations and emphasized the structure and availability of Federal crop insurance programs including RMA's Livestock Risk Protection and AGR-Lite Programs.

CAS also worked with the Farm Bureau organizations in Massachusetts and Nevada to arrange the delivery of crop insurance information to producers attending annual meetings in each state.

Finally, as part of a project to inform Eastern U.S. clam producers about RMA's Clam Pilot Crop Insurance Program, CAS' Clif Parker attended the Virginia Aquaculture Conference in Williamsburg, VA.
