Wingard staffed a trade show booth at the event and also directly approached numerous lamb producers showing at the event.  Producers were provided RMA LRP-Lamb Program Fact Sheets and other RMA documents.  Most producers were unaware of the LRP-Lamb Program prior to the event, and many producers were excited to learn about the program and the mission of the Risk Management Agency.

CAS' Shylea Wingard delivered USDA/RMA Livestock Risk Protection Lamb (LRP-Lamb) Program information to Oregon lamb producers attending the Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival held on September 27-28, 2008, in Canby, OR.  The outreach effort was conducted as part of a USDA/RMA/CAS Commodity Partnership, administered by RMA's Spokane, WA, Regional Office.
