Custom Ag Solutions (CAS) worked with the Cherry Marketing Institute (CMI) President to coordinate a Cherry Pilot Crop Insurance Program Presentation at the CMI Annual Meeting held in Traverse City on January 16, 2008.  The event was conducted with funding from the USDA/RMA/CAS Commodity Partnerships Program to benefit Michigan cherry producers.

The meeting included a 30-minute risk management / crop insurance information session where CAS presented information about the structure and availability of RMA’s Cherry Pilot Crop Insurance Program.  CAS also explained the availability of other crop insurance programs available in Michigan.  Over 200 participants attended the presentation.
