CAS met with Michigan Cherry Growers at the Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Station near Traverse City on April 9, 2008.  CAS delivered Cherry Pilot Crop Insurance Program information to growers attending the research station's Spring Cherry Meeting.  The outreach was funded by the USDA/RMA under the Commodity Partnerships Program to benefit Michigan Cherry Growers.

CAS worked with research station personnel and the Cherry Marketing Institute (CMI) to coordinate and promote the event, which was attanded by over three dozen area cherry growers.
