CAS' Kole Swanser and Ryan Mangus attended the Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Station Open House on August 21, 2008, to inform Michigan cherry growers about the availability and features of the new Actual Revenue History (ARH) Pilot Cherry Crop Insurance Program.  The outreach effort was conducted as part of a 2007-2008 USDA/RMA Commodity Partnerships Program to benefit Michigan Cherry Growers.

Swanser and Mangus interacted informally with attending growers and also delivered a brief presentation inviting growers to learn about the new program.  CAS also made hard-copy program documentation available to attending growers.
