On September 27, 2007, acting Agriculture Secretary Chuck Conner announcedawards of nearly $21.2 million in agricultural risk management partnership agreements throughout the United States.  The agreements fund projects to develop new risk management tools for farmers and ranchers, as well as outreach and education opportunities to limited-resource and other traditionally under-served farmers and ranchers.  Wyoming's Custom Ag Solutions received 10 educational partnership awards to reach producers in 11 states as detailed below:

• Crop Insurance Training for Massachusetts Producers;
• Crop Insurance Training for Nevada Producers;
• Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) Program Training for California Producers;
• Clam Insurance Program Training and Risk Management Education for Eastern U.S. Producers;
• Cherry Crop Insurance Program Training and Risk Management Education for Michigan Producers;
• Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) Program Training for Idaho and Oregon Producers;
• Risk Management Training for North Carolina Christmas Tree Growers;
• Risk Management Training for Michigan Christmas Tree Growers;
• Risk Management Training for Wisconsin Christmas Tree Growers;
• Risk Management Training for Oregon and Washington Christmas Tree Growers.
